  Scarred for life...IPL

  “I went into Youthful Images with some minor hyperpigmentation on my face and am now left with serious hypopigmentation scars all over my face. I was too naive at the time to realize that James DeStephens had no business doing cosmetic procedures when he specializes in cardiovascular medicine. I went in for the first IPL treatment and within hours I had oozing blisters on both cheeks and my forehead. I called the clinic and returned to the clinic to only have DeStephens tell me to put antibiotic ointment on them and 'the blisters are good, it means the laser went deeper and your skin will be healthier there'. I should have made a beeline for the hospital to obtain proper treatment for my burns, but I think I was too embarrassed and scared. Clearly going to Youthful Images was a huge mistake, one that resulted in a collapse of my self-esteem and endless amount of tears. I deeply regret making the mistake of trusting my skin to James DeStephens, and I hope anyone considering doing a cosmetic procedure will choose to go to a doctor that specializes in dermatology and not to go to a heart doctor that just happens to have a cosmetic laser in his clinic. Trust me, once you sign their waiver form, all scars are on you. ”

Incompetent technicians, the poorest of services, unclean surroundings, and a major attitude problem on behalf of the OWNER are all the fine things offered by Aegean. This place ruined my clothes, refused to take responsibility for any wrongdoing, and hung up on me when I asked for an explanation. Horrific experience. One star is one star too many.”
