A rare combination of dermatologist & internist, Dr. Alvarez treats adults & pediatric patients. Dr. Alvarez graduated Magna Cum Laude & is a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at NYU Dermatology Department where he teaches the dermatology residents to diagnose and manage skin conditions. Dr. Alvarez is a well-known physician. Several of his articles have been published in peer-reviewed dermatology publications. He has studied psoriasis & metabolic syndrome, rosacea, & cutaneous t-cell lymphomas extensively. Psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis, itching, & urticaria are among the skin disorders he treats. He also treats acne, rosacea, & sexually transmitted infections.
